The Akoya Data Access Network (DAN) uses APIs to create a safer and more transparent way for consumers to safely share their personal financial data with online fintech services. The network provides data recipients, such as aggregators and fintechs, a secure way to connect with financial institutions and other data providers to securely access and obtain consumer-permissioned financial data. 

The Role

As Onboarding Manager for our Developer Ecosystem for financial data, you’ll be responsible for growing our ecosystem that enables developers around the world to use our platform to provide great experiences to their customers. You will work with sales, product, marketing, engineering and design teams in Boston and Raleigh.

Our ideal Onboarding Manager has spearheaded and shepherded new partners through all elements of an onboarding workflow, including discovery, implementation, security, compliance and risk vetting, testing, certification and ongoing support activities. Coupled with the onboarding process, this individual can build strong, long term rapports with the business and technical contacts both internally on our team and among the partners’ teams.

This individual has an extreme attention to detail, ability to concisely communicate complex concepts as well as supporting the success of our partners through beautiful product UX and API design.  Based on each successful onboarding, the Onboarding Manager will seek opportunities to drive improvements to the workflow, the client experience and available tools through iterative learning, feedback and analytics/measurement.

The Expertise You Have

  • Experience working in a partner success/relationship management in an agile product development environment with at least 2+ yrs. as a lead
  • A background or keen interest in financial services, technology and/or data with a passion of investor protection
  • You have experience supporting a portfolio of partners leveraging API based platforms as the means to deliver data, critical for an engaging and secure end user experience
  • You do what it takes to make your product and team successful whether that means hunting down the root cause of a partner’s frustration or advocating on their behalf to get them a solution
  • Beyond just onboarding new partners, you obsess about continuous process improvement for more efficient workflows and optimized support channels
  • Energetic with good social and communication skills to be a key member of a small team
  • The ability to work alone or as part of a team maintaining a low ego with a sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute tasks that lead to a successful partner experience
  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of data recipients through all steps of joining and being an active participant in the Akoya Data Access Network
  • Analyze user feedback, user behavior (quantitative and qualitative), competitors, and market trends
  • Provide sought after opinion internally and externally about the product line based on partner product and data needs
  • Deliver success through partner growth as measured by data recipients onboarding and migrating end users as demonstrated through increased activity on the platform
  • Be the go to resource for your partners for support, technical and business issues and be able to tap the right colleagues to get a problem solved in a timely and efficient manner

The Skills You Bring

  • Experience working with Postman, or similar tools, to validate API endpoints
  • Experience with common data exchange formats, such as JSON, XML
  • Basic understanding of network protocols, such as security certificates, oAuth and Open ID Connect
